Who You’ll Work With:
The Private Client Servicing Analyst provides complete support for the PC channel across the life cycle of Private Client accounts/relationships and has a heavy daily interaction with Sales, PC Portfolio Management and other Operations teams to support day-to-day servicing. The candidate will report to a Team Manager and provide support to the AB Private Client Sales force.
We are seeking a San Antonio-based Private Client Servicing Analyst, to join our Private Client Administration team within Private Client Operations.
- The Private Client Servicing Team acts as Operational generalists and is a liaison between Sales, Portfolio Management and Operations. The Servicing Analyst plays a key role in nearly all aspects of the AllianceBernstein Private Client Business and will be responsible for servicing a designated client base. The candidate will play an integral role in the day-to-day servicing of Private Client accounts.
What You’ll Do:
- Quality review and open domestic and foreign client accounts on various systems including custody and accounting systems.
- Provide day-to-day reconciliation of custody and accounting systems for all private client accounts.
- Collaborate with brokerage firms, banks and transfer agents to transfer client assets into and out of the firm as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Initiate performance measurement process for all new accounts to accurately track and report account performance to clients.
- Review account activity and update client cost basis which is integral to timely and efficient trade execution and portfolio management.
- Assist in the quality control of account attributes and data for various tax reports provided to clients and to the IRS.
- Provide oversight for asset transfers between retirement accounts to effect accurate government reporting.
- Field questions from Sales and various other departments supporting firm’s mission to provide excellence in client service.
- Participate in client related research projects, product launches and other firm wide initiatives.
- Support offshore team at AXA Business Services.
- Assist in review of communications with end client to validate outgoing cash movement to 3rd party recipients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Business or Finance. College graduates who have had internships in the finance industry will also be considered.
- The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products (particularly Excel, Word and Power Point).
