The Business/Budget Analyst Consultant / IT Budget and Contracts Manager will assist in analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and providing insights and creating visually appealing presentations to support strategic decision-making during the consulting period. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.
The company is currently operating in a hybrid model, and the candidate will be required to come into the office twice a week.
Essential Functions For This Role Include
- Assist in analyzing financial data and creating budget models to support business decisions.
- Help prepare and present budget reports, forecasts, and plans.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities as well as present the material in a concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Some experience or internships in a Business/Budget/Financial Analyst role or similar.
- Basic proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Relevant coursework or certifications in finance or business analysis, preferred.
