Key Accountabilities
- In their role the individual in this position will be required to:
- Develop relations, drive sales, and service fund selectors and financial advisors in the territories in scope (NY, Texas, Miami, Brazil). Be a key contributor to the Americas Offshore distribution team, which covers seven countries in three languages.
- Support sales and marketing activities with our third-party distribution partners in LatAm and Brazil.
- Be near-native or native Portuguese speaker. Fluent Spanish is also ideal.
- Possess advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Develop and/or possess working knowledge of Morningstar and/or other fund and market databases. Use this knowledge to help research and maintain analyses of competitors, peer groups, and other relevant market information.
- Provide support in the preparation and coordination of roadshows and events.
- Create and update custom marketing materials for the US offshore/LatAm onshore market.
- Possess or develop industry and business relationships in target distributors (i.e. Citi, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Santander, Itau, XP, Avenue).
- Develop strong knowledge of our investment capabilities, products, and competitive landscape.
- Have strong interpersonal and communicational skills. Be results oriented and organized.
- Have a strong understanding of macro conditions, risks, and opportunities.
- Be able to present eloquently and succinctly our company, products within the context of financial markets and competing strategies from other firms.
- Help coordinate and execute with Marketing and Client Service our communications campaigns and activity in social media (Linkedin) and online. Maintain distribution lists and keep track of sales activities and flows.
- Build and maintain relationships with global, internal investment teams to coordinate and structure presentation and marketing materials.
- Work with Operations team and TA to assist with client trade inquiries.
- Work hand-in-hand with US compliance to ensure all materials are in line with regulatory standards.
- The person is required to adhere to AXA IM's policies and the relevant regulations that govern our business.
- Collect and maintain client data as needed for KYC & AML purposes within Salesforce, our CRM tool.

Education/Qualifications:
Experience:
- +2-3 years in Asset Management in equivalent sales role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Portuguese, and Spanish language; Series 7.
Competencies:
- The person is expected to have a great degree of professionalism and attention to detail, strong teamwork culture and excel in communication skills. The person should be client oriented and able to provide high quality service. Teamwork is fundamental but the person should also able to work independently, be self-motivated and able to work without constant direct supervision.
The salary range for this Sales Associate role is between $120,000 and $180,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role, in line with internal and external benchmarks.
