Role Summary
We’re looking for an outgoing and impact-driven deep generalist to help our portfolio companies on a wide array of needs. This includes leading kickoffs, triaging needs and executing projects, building capabilities and programs, building and activating our value-add network, making quality intros, and ensuring our founders have an exceptional end-to-end experience.
Ideally you can confidently help companies in one or more of the following areas: sales/growth, BD/partnerships, marketing, fundraising, corporate development, finance and operations, and talent. For areas you’re less familiar with, you must be eager to use your drive, resourcefulness, and network to learn quickly and service needs. You will be expected to leverage GenAI tools as a regular part of your job, always looking to improve the efficiency and scale of our support activities to impact outcomes. Success in this role means your involvement with companies measurably moves the needle, and our founders love us for our attitude and support.
We’re looking for people who obsess over the startup journey and how to best support founders. We expect this role to be best suited for people looking to grow their expertise and skills both horizontally and vertically. You might come from or consider future roles in sales, BD, marketing, customer success, business operations, product management, people operations, corporate development, or management consulting – or perhaps want to eventually start something yourself if you haven’t already. This is not an investment-track position.
You will report to our Head of Portfolio and work closely with our founders, investors, and other platform team members including our Community & Events Lead. You will be expected to work out of our Bellevue office at least 4 days per week. Occasional travel is expected.
Responsibilities
- Help portfolio companies grow
- Run kickoff meetings that maximize alignment on goals and areas of support
- Constantly identify opportunities for proactive support and value creation
- Independently lead support projects across a wide array of disciplines
- Quickly respond to asks from companies and our investors
- Make a ton of high-value intros
- Build portfolio support capabilities
- Constantly find and build new, useful offerings to make available to companies
- Grow and strengthen relationships with key vendors and network contacts
- Ensure our advisors are utilized in a way that maximizes their value add
- Manage our knowledge base of useful guides, templates, perks, and recommendations
- Build out and leverage our technology and GenAI offerings to scale our support
- Create an exceptional founder experience
- Run regular surveys and collect feedback to evolve our services/model
- Work closely with others to execute events and community initiatives
- Champion portfolio companies and their news, needs, and asks
- Galvanize our team to support companies by surfacing tangible and discrete action items.

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
