We are seeking an Editor to join our Weekends team and help build on our robust weekend news strategy, setting our agenda wherever we deliver the news. You'll demonstrate superior news judgment, have experience editing stories on a variety subjects, and be prepared to enhance our presence for readers wherever they get their news — on mobile devices, the terminal and Bloomberg.com. You'll be comfortable coordinating and publishing fast-breaking news across multiple platforms and not be afraid of leading from the front and doing everything it takes for Bloomberg News to succeed Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
This is a weekend position and you will work from Thursday – Sunday with a dedicated team. Please only apply if you can accommodate this working arrangement.

You'll Need To Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and interest in markets, politics, companies and general interest news
- Ability to organize coverage and collaborate across platforms, especially for the web
- Experience editing stories, sending headlines and alerts to our core and online audiences
