Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President/ Vice President will be an integral part of the credit trading group, supporting bank loan portfolio management. Responsibilities include bank loan trading across various strategies, such as CLOs, separate accounts, ETFs, and mutual funds. A strong preference is given to candidates with CLO compliance experience and knowledge of CLO structures.
Essential Duties
Key duties involve working closely with sell-side traders, optimizing portfolios, presenting investment opinions, and acting as a liaison between the CLO compliance team and Portfolio Managers. The candidate must possess highly professional verbal and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in the securities industry, with a minimum of two years in a research analyst role or experience in bank loan or CLO trading preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university or college, demonstrating strong academic performance and relevant coursework.
- Excellent math and finance skills, with strong proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a trading room environment.
- Proficiency with Bloomberg.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

Estimated Compensation:
Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $180k-$200k. This represents base salary range only.
Other Compensation:In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
