Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Product Manager for our Portfolio Reporting and Operations Technology team who has a strong passion for building new products and democratizing access to data to unlock actionable insights for business users across our Private Equity and Real Estate businesses. As a member of the Portfolio Reporting and Operations Technology team, you’ll be expected to solve real business challenges by bridging strategy and technology execution – owning complex initiatives from inception to delivery. You are equal parts problem solver and operator; quickly identifying what matters, with a preference for action, and the resilience to see things through.
Responsibilities:
Conduct product & stakeholder management with various teams across the firm, focusing on our Real Estate and Private Equity businesses to drive efficient portfolio monitoring, analytics, and reporting.
Coordinate with a broader technology organization comprising product owners, application developers, and UX designers.
Lead intake and refinement of technology and data asks related to deal tracking, portfolio monitoring, asset onboarding, portfolio human capital, and other analytics. Proactively identify opportunities for better tooling, automation, or data flows that increase adoption and reduce manual work.
Develop and maintain analytical software solutions using SQL, ensuring quality, scalability, reliability, and security.
Maintain critical data tables that power downstream reporting and insights. Onboard new business-critical data sets and integrate them into the firmwide Blackstone data platform.
Partner with global and regional teams to document best practices and processes. Champion sustainable ways of working—across intake, prioritization, delivery, and documentation.
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should possess the following qualities:
3+ years of experience in management consulting, financial services, product management, and/or business analytics preferred.
Experience working within a technology team for a financial firm, with a preference for alternative asset managers and/or real estate.
Advanced analytical skills, including statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
Fluency in SQL and Python for interacting with data and data warehouses.
Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices.
Skilled in using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Sigma.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to effectively communicate to both business and technical coworkers, and to author documentation appropriate for the user community, development teams, and senior management.
Clearly defines project scope, prioritizes concurrent workstreams, and effectively manages changes in requirements.
Manages multiple priorities and raises issues in a timely and productive fashion.
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or other related field.

Expected annual base salary range:
$95,000 - $160,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
