About the Role:
S&P Global’s Special Services team plays a vital role, overseeing a range of functions to facilitate the delivery of superior service, leveraging consistent processes and tools to proactively monitor service delivery, and take ownership of critical incidents and escalations, coordinating with resolution parties and establishing effective communications between our clients and our SMEs.
The Team:
The Special Services team is critical component of the Managed Data Services team. This is a client-facing role that works directly with our clients.
Candidates must have successful track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and the willingness to bring a unique perspective through contributions to process improvement projects. Significant iLevel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Consulting with venture capital/private equity clients to match our portfolio monitoring and financial reporting offerings to their needs.
Assists with the onboarding of new clients to the platform – often taking a very “hands-on” role – throughout the process.
Build robust Excel reports that are integrated with our platforms.
Complete other client projects on an “as needed” basis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the motivation to learn new applications.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,280 to $75,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
Be responsible for your work independently and your role as part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a conceptual understanding of the SaaS business model.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Willingness to work longer hours when needed during critical times.(i.e., quarterly reporting)
4-year degree from an accredited college or university. Mathematics, accounting or finance degrees strongly preferred.
Experience working effectively with others in a team setting while meeting tight deadlines.
