Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysts professional to join our Corporate Finance team. This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will join a team responsible for monthly and quarterly financial reporting, annual budgeting, portfolio analytics and market research. This role will be a key participant in the development, preparation, and presentation of both short- and long-term financial deliverables in support of overall management objectives at the firm.
Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare and present key financial analyses including forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and balance sheet/cash flow projections that help drive real-time business decisions
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly outlook processes
- Assist in preparation of presentation materials for the executive team, internal stakeholders and investors
- Maintain and manage corporate financial data provided from multiple departments and software applications
- Proactively develop ad hoc financial analyses to improve reporting and understanding of underlying trends and performance
- No employees will directly report to this position at this time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics preferred from an accredited college
- 5+ years of relevant work experience. Experience in financial services or public accounting a plus
- CFA or CPA designation strongly preferred
- Experience in financial modeling, proficiency in extracting and maintaining large amounts of data
- Motivated self-starter, highly organized and committed to accuracy and quality of work product
- A strong work ethic, the ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, and an aptitude for managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- A talent for solving problems, intellectual curiosity, strong quantitative skills and a willingness to immerse oneself in financial and market data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel and PowerPoint required, knowledge of additional data analysis or FP&A systems a plus
The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $230,000 USD. The actual base salary will depend upon the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, business needs and market. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus and if awarded is based on a variety of factors including firm and individual performance.
