General Summary and Purpose:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial management of the Victory Capital. The position is responsible for most accounting functions for the Company. The position is also responsible for partnering with other members of the Finance department in building a sound financial reporting and monitoring process.
A self-motivated individual with accounting experience and exceptional verbal and written communication skills are requirements for the successful candidate. Additional responsibilities will include participating in special projects.
You will report to the Director of Financial Reporting and Operations.
You Will:
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations to ensure timely month-end closure of accounting records.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the Finance department on potential accounting and reporting issues that could impact financial results.
- Managing the maintenance of the formal corporate financial records (charts of accounts, etc.) to support reporting and analysis activities.
- Support the improvement of accounting processes and controls by assisting other finance team members with miscellaneous special projects.
- Support other members of the Finance department by working effectively with the company’s independent auditors and other regulatory agencies.
- Maintain SOX compliance by operating within the Company’s control environment.
- Contribute to the deliverables related to the Company’s public 10-Q and 10-K filings.
You Have:
- 7-10 years of professional experience
- CPA License preferred
- Undergraduate degree in accounting
- Investment company/financial service industry background preferred

Target Compensation:
The target base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $114,000
Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications.
Victory Capital Management operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
Victory Capital Management’s total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
