The Opportunity:
As a Vice President, Treasury, you will help lead our Treasury team and share in the managerial oversight of the operations cash and treasury function. You will be responsible for reviewing, developing, and implementing process efficiencies for the Treasury team. In addition, you will handle all change management related to Treasury with the broader business, guiding and providing support along the way.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Lead and have managerial oversight of the operations cash and treasury function
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all day-to-day funding, cash investment strategies and opportunities across the company’s investment management clients
- Oversee all cash management functions including asset/liability forecasting for investment fund clients
- Ensure adequate liquidity for working capital for investment funds and separate accounts
- Together with the Finance Department, oversee Client and Investment fund-oriented banking and financial institution relationships
- Maintain policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
- Responsible for preparing cash and capital trend analyses as well as establish key treasury operating metrics for improved organizational decision making
- Partner across the Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure the systems necessary to serve the growing scale of our company are in place
- Establish required process and identify process improvement opportunities, develop, and execute treasury initiatives
- Evaluate currency risk exposure and make recommendations as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
Your background will include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management, CTP or MBA preferred
- 8 years of experience in Treasury, Cash management and/or Corporate Finance in a corporate or a banking environment
- Demonstrated success building and managing a team while partnering with internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of cash management strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to lead and drive cross functional projects
- Excellent analytical skill and attention to detail
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, regulatory and control environments
