Our team of credentialed professionals, including CPAs, CFP® certificants and CFA® charterholders have experience in guiding corporate executives, business owners and women of wealth. We help our clients with life's transitions including succession, retirement and liquidity planning, marital/partnership changes or loss of a spouse. Fairport Wealth joined Hightower Advisors in 2017. Hightower is a wealth management practice that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, and 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Hightower's capital solutions, operational support services, size and scale empower its vibrant community of independent-minded wealth advisors to grow their businesses and help their clients achieve their financial vision. Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
Your Future Operations Team
Fairport Wealth is looking to add a qualified individual to the existing Operations department of a growing, regional RIA. You will have responsibilities serving a multi-office enterprise. There is room to grow within the department, as it scales mirroring firm growth. The Analyst would be involved in most daily operations of the firm. RIA and or Custodian experience a plus. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
What You'll Do:
- New client onboarding
- Account terminations
- Performance reporting system set up and maintenance
- Analyze and resolve trading and system discrepancies
- Client billing maintenance and reporting
- Review and approve cash management tasks and money movement requests
- Perform daily data reconciliation and audits on reporting platform
- Help with operational projects
- Build/maintain relationships with our team, custodians and counterparties
- Provide operational support to teams and respond to queries raise
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred
- Prior experience with an RIA a plus
- Process oriented
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and organize
- Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal
- Willingness to learn and eager to grow skillset
- A friendly professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
