The Investment Operations Analyst provides support and assistance to the functions of Investment Operations which include cash management, private market funding and distributions, maintaining portfolio system data trade settlements and check processing.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing short term cash balances for assigned accounts
- Monitoring and processing cash wires and transfers in custodian wire system for assigned accounts
- Processing activity to the portfolio system
- Processing checks and ACH
- Administering trading activity in assigned accounts
- Providing support and acting as backup to other group functions in the following areas as needed
- Assisting in the day-to-day operations of Investment Operations
Minimum Requirements:
Three years of related experience. A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience; 2 years for an associate’s degree, 4 years for a bachelor’s degree, 6 years for a master’s degree, 7 years for a professional degree, or 9 years for a doctoral degree.
Preferences:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of financial concepts and theories and their application
- Extensive Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally
- Ability to perform at a high level in a team environment
- Ability to work efficiently and multitask under time constraints, with attentional to detail
- Ability to conduct research, compile data and present results in an articulate and useful manner
