Position Description:
The primary function of the Co-op is to support a team of relationship managers in the administration of investment accounts belonging to nonprofit institutions, foundations, and charitable trusts. KEY DUTIES: 1. Support advisors in maintenance and administration of client accounts 2. Process and document transactions in client accounts 3. Research emerging trends in the philanthropic sector 4. Contribute to the development of topical educational and marketing content 5. Actively participate in internal team meetings 6. Assist in preparation of presentation materials for client meetings 7. Respond to client requests or proactively identify potential issues in the normal course of business, undertake research or take needed action to resolve (with guidance from senior officers where appropriate) and keep all relevant parties informed 8. Participate in systems enhancement projects and associated data migration efforts.
Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing undergraduate degree 2. Excellent oral and written communication skills 3. Motivated, organized self-starter 4. Attention to detail, particularly with respect to financial figures and written materials 5. A team orientation with a willingness to learn 6. Full understanding of client privacy and confidentiality 7. Interest in investments, philanthropy, and/or nonprofit organizations 8. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to investment and CRM-oriented IT applications The working hours for Glenmede employees are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For this position, we are currently operating in a hybrid work environment requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
