As part of MissionSquare Research Institute (Institute), the Senior Researcher, working closely with the Head of Research Institute, will develop and oversee the Institute’s research agenda, research concept development, and engagement with external audiences on Institute research.
Primary Duties Include
- Directing and carrying out quantitative and qualitative research and writing on topics of the Institute's focus: financial health and wellness, retirement, public workforce, and other related topics;
- Drafting and reviewing research communications for Institute audiences, independently and jointly with other Institute staff;
- Collaborating on research, writing, proposal development, and other related initiatives with the Institute’s external research contractors and partners;
- Oversee Institute research program activities, including administrative research functions (e.g., survey data collection) for assigned projects;
- Research, write, and review articles and reports for publication, often in partnership with other Institute staff, academics, and third-party researchers;
- Work closely with MissionSquare's Strategy, Analytics, and Research team to support the development of corporate strategy, product and service innovation/implementation, institutional sales initiatives, and marketing campaigns through industry-leading research and thought leadership;
- Present Institute research in front of a range of internal and external audiences, both in-person and virtually, as requested.
