Position Summary
The Recruiter will be a critical member of the Talent Acquisition team and will assist with the evolution of a best-in-class recruiting function and its enabling processes. The Recruiter will proactively manage the full-life cycle recruiting process for various departments across Investor Services with a particular focus on Finance & Accounting and Information Technology. The ideal hire will have previous experience in strategic sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, generating/extending offers and both candidate and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Hiring Manager and HR Business Partners in assigned departments to develop and implement effective, comprehensive, multi-layered staffing strategies including ATS, job boards, web searches, networking, industry-specific sources, and traditional recruitment methods.
- Understand the business, the strategic direction of the Department, and the specifics surrounding the search
- Partner with hiring manager to assess and identify staffing needs; ensure hiring manager is familiar with recruitment process; provide ongoing recruitment progress updates to hiring manager.
- Source candidates, screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone and in person), conduct assessments, conduct reference/background checks, provide hiring recommendations; challenge/influence decision making; develop and make employment offers for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Ensure job descriptions and position requirements are aligned with business objectives
- Develop position-specific screening questionnaires for hiring managers and interview panelists
- Serve as an ambassador of the firm when reaching out to candidates
- Conduct pre-screening and in-depth interview assessment and selection of applicants to identify the most qualified candidates.
- Manage candidates throughout the interview process; ensure candidate care, correspond with hiring managers and communicate with HRBPs and other internal stakeholders to ensure a thorough and efficient pre-employment and onboarding process.
- Comply with all federal/state laws and regulations governing all stages of the recruiting process
- Negotiate and present offers and close selected candidates
- Utilize ATS to track candidate flows and manage employee records, generating reports and running queries as required.
- Leverage candidate tracking systems to ensure future searches leverage all data gathered during the process.
- Remain informed of talent shifts in the industry and implement recruiting plans based on those changes.
- Build and maintain a diverse candidate pipeline by using traditional and non-traditional recruitment resources
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global and local HR colleagues and functional managers/directors to understand needs.
Requirements
Education & Certificates
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of full-life cycle recruiting experience required
- Experience recruiting on managerial-level positions
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing hard-to-find candidates via Linkedin and other databases, resources, etc.
- Experience using staffing systems and tools including relational database applicant tracking systems, the internet, job boards and imagination
- Knowledge of staffing best practices, recruiting and selection skills and strong strategic planning skills/experience
- Working knowledge of federal/state/local regulatory standards governing pre-employment practices

- Ability to understand business needs and develop into talent and recruitment strategy
- Established proficiency to coach and influence hiring managers throughout recruitment process
- Good change management and organizational skills

- Experience in Financial Services industry is a plus
Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to Washington, DC, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000
In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
