Job Title: Associate, Performance Analytics

Job Summary:
The Investment Performance team is responsible for all performance-related matters within the firm. This includes, but is not limited to, execution and communication of: calculating performance across all investment products, attribution analysis, competitor analysis, risk statistics, and portfolio characteristics. Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Monitor and review benchmark and portfolio data quality
- Assist in preparation of portfolio attribution analysis and interpretation
- Troubleshoot monthly preliminary and final returns for all accounts. Monitor data integrity on a daily basis.
- Review and maintain firm-wide security level classifications
- Run internal daily performance reports; support the implementation and process for automation and quality improvement of reports
- Assist in monthly composite returns and research into causes of dispersion
- Research, build and analyze appropriate competitor peer groups
- Run internal daily fund information and rankings report
- Prepare materials for corporate and fund board meetings
- Work closely with manager on the continuing automation and centralization of performance attribution reporting.
- Assist retail, institutional and portfolio management groups with performance-related requests and special projects as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- 1+years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advance functions of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong data management and quantitative skills
- Ideally have mutual funds and separate accounts performance calculation experience
- Familiarity with Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, Sim Corp Dimension, Factset and BiSam Attribution is a big plus
- Working knowledge of performance and attribution analysis, and relative risk statistics is highly desirable
