Your Future Team
Hightower’s Investment Management team is dedicated to owning and operating the end-to-end investment platform (Hightower One) that facilitates delivery of investment solutions to our advisor’s end clients. We manage a diverse suite of investment platforms, oversee implementation of investments, and collaborate with advisors to deliver best-in-class experience. Our team partners with research, investments, trading, operations, and technology to ensure we drive an innovative, compliant, and seamless experience. What You’ll Do
As a Alternative Investment Operations, Senior Analyst you will serve as a key pre-investment operations support for the firm’s private market investment platform. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational workflows, supporting advisors through the subscription process, and escalating issues appropriately on behalf of our advisors to vendors/funds where appropriate around operational/subscription issues that arise.
- Understand the end-to-end pre-investment workflow managed through Hightower’s Private Market Exchange (PMX) and oversee necessary administration to ensure appropriate access, data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Provide white glove service and support to advisor practices utilizing the PMX platform, including offering training and support, managing escalations with vendors and/or funds, and resolving any data or access issues as they may arise.
- Manage the vendor support relationship around platform operations and service delivery, including establishing SLAs and helping advisors navigate external channels.
- Ensure appropriate hand off to post investment reporting as commitment file transfers over to Accord and the client reporting team.
- Provide insights and feedback from the field to inform ongoing operational process improvements.
- Develop detailed training materials and support the distribution and education of processes and best practices out to the field.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures around the platform and help develop KPI or other metrics to monitor process success.
- Assist with testing, documentation, and deployment of new platform functionality.
- Contribute to reporting, analytics, and audit processes to enhance transparency and accuracy in investment operations.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of private market investment operations experience, including exposure to investor onboarding, subscription document workflows, and KYC/AML requirements.
- Understanding of iCapital or other private market investment platforms.
- Experience working directly with financial advisors and comfortable creating training material or user guides to aid them through the processes.
- Ability to explain complex processes in clear, user-friendly language.
- Process driven with experience documenting processes and an understanding of end-to-end impacts.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
