Federated Hermes, Inc., one of the nation’s largest investment managers with over $871 Billion in managed assets has an exciting opportunity available immediately for a Senior Regional Consultant/Regional Consultant to successfully promote Federated Hermes’ products to intermediary clients in the metro Atlanta territory.
Duties include:
- Conduct systematic sales calls on intermediary clients and prospective clients to identify needs, explain Federated Hermes’ investment products, processes and staff.
- Follow-up on client and prospective client contacts and close the sale of investment products.
- May develop marketing programs for existing clients to increase assets.
- Coordinate internal resources to further the sales process; i.e., client Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Managers, Internal Sales, Legal and other support personnel. (RFPs, final presentations and annual reviews for Institutional).
- Work closely with internal Federated Hermes’s departments (i.e., Operations, Compliance, Product Development, Legal) to assure proper client servicing.
- Maintain up-to-date client and call activity data in the Federated Hermes CRM database.
- Provide management with written and oral feedback on discussions with clients and prospects.
- Attend industry conferences and seminars.
- Entertain clients and prospects as appropriate.
Specifications:
- Bachelor degree required; business related field preferred; Master’s degree, CIMA or CFP preferred
- Minimum 1 - 3 years outside sales or sales support experience required; 5 year’s outside sales experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Knowledge of financial markets required
- In-depth knowledge of financial products required; Knowledge of Federated Hermes’s products preferred
- Knowledge of quantitative mutual fund investment techniques and terminology preferred
- Must possess/obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 immediately
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
**The experience level of the candidate will determine the level of the position as Sr. Regional Consultant or Regional Consultant.**
