Lazard Asset Management is seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Professional to focus on cultivating and expanding relationships within the Healthcare, Endowments & Foundations, and Family Offices (HEFF) channel in the West Coast territory. The successful candidate will represent Lazard's full suite of asset management products across various classes and will play a pivotal role in enhancing our market presence and driving asset growth.
We’ll trust you to:
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with institutional clients in the HEFF channel on the west coast.
- Represent Lazard's comprehensive array of products, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and multi-asset solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans tailored to the needs of Healthcare, Endowments & Foundations, and Family Offices client demand.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio management, marketing, and research, to deliver tailored solutions and insights to clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the sector.
- Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance Lazard's visibility and client engagement.
- Provide expertise and thought leadership to clients, delivering presentations and insights that demonstrate Lazard's value proposition.
- Achieve targeted sales goals and objectives and communicate updates with leadership.
- Leveraging existing relationships across Institutional landscape to create opportunities for the broader sales team to raise assets (including relationships with Corporate & Public Pension plans).
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree ; CAIA or CFA preferred ; Series 7, 63, and willingness to take Series 31 exam
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within financial services, with a focus on institutifonal clients.
- Proven track record of success in sales and client expansion, particularly within the HEFF channel.
- In-depth understanding of asset management products and market dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel within the West Coast to meet with clients and attend events.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $140,000 – $160,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and typically includes incentive compensation.
