Position Overview
This role will be part of the North America Product Development team and will report to the Head of Product Development to execute on product strategy initiatives, coordinate product development projects, oversee new product implementation and delivery mechanisms for markets in the US and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Manage product development activities for the US and Canadian markets for investment products and solutions across each channel
- Research the structure, relative benefits, competitive pricing and commercial viability of pooled vehicles for the institutional, DC and intermediary channels
- Assist with the continued buildout of the SMA business and platform, including operational aspects
- Work closely with the investment teams, fund services, operations, legal, compliance, finance, and risk teams in New York and their counterparts globally to review and launch products
- Project manage the implementation of the agreed product strategy and product plans
- Collaborate globally with partners in the global product development function
- Coordinate with the Client Group, Marketing, Operations, and other key support areas to effectively support and promote products

Basic Qualifications
- Strong understanding of market and investment theory
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field such as actuarial science or CFA qualified
- Proficiency across the Microsoft office suite especially Excel
- Familiarity with Institutional, Intermediary and Retirement markets
- Familiarity with creating, launching and supporting mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and other institutional vehicles including 3c7s and CITs
- Awareness of the relevant legal, tax and regulatory considerations associated with launching and maintaining products across relevant markets and geographies
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the asset management industry and competitors
- Experience using tools such as Morningstar Direct, eVestment or Prequin
Compensation
Schroders offers a base salary in a range of $115,000 - $145,000 for this position.
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
