This role requires strong independent judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving situations. The Associate will be expected to assess which opportunities are worth pursuing, prioritize against competing stakeholder requests, and represent Blackstone thoughtfully without relying on rigid playbooks or escalation. They will play a central role in portfolio company value creation by originating, facilitating, executing, and measuring intra-portfolio commercial partnerships. Additional responsibilities include the following:
- Sit at the intersection of financial analytics, commercial strategy, and business development to identify and unlock high-impact revenue synergy opportunities across Blackstone’s portfolio.
- Conduct data-driven customer profiling, support go-to-market initiatives, articulate value propositions, and drive targeted sales motions across portfolio companies at all stages of the investment lifecycle.
- Partner directly with C-suite executives to develop partnership opportunities, build financial models that demonstrate impact at the deal and fund level, and prioritize efforts based on where synergies will generate the greatest strategic and financial return.
- Communicate effectively with senior-level leaders, investors, and other key stakeholders. Build trust and credibility at the executive level. Lead discussions, facilitate meetings, and represent Blackstone in high-stakes environments.
- Manage master data to ensure accurate reporting on synergy activity, maintain a comprehensive database of portfolio company capabilities, and produce actionable reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a connective tissue across Blackstone, proactively identifying where portfolio company capabilities, customer needs, and strategic priorities intersect.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field required.
Experience:
- 4+ years of cumulative experience in one or more of the following environments:
- Value creation or portfolio operations at a private equity firm
- Investment banking, private equity investing, or management consulting
- Commercial, operational, or FP&A roles within Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, with demonstrated experience developing high-quality internal and external materials for fundraising, investor relations, and portfolio management purposes.
- Exceptional skills working closely and collaboratively with C-suite executives, leveraging exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present complex financial analyses, strategic recommendations, and partnership opportunities in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Candidates must demonstrate evidence of operating comfortably in unstructured environments with senior-level stakeholders.

Expected annual base salary range:
$145,000 - $175,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
