The Senior Manager, Business Development plays a pivotal role in acceleratingSimCorp’scommercial growth byidentifyingnew market opportunities, shaping strategic partnerships, and driving initiatives that expandSimCorp’spresence across the Americas. With a focus on uncovering high‑value prospects and strengthening long‑term client relationships, this role helps ensure that our business development efforts are aligned toSimCorp’sbroader growth strategy.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and other cross‑functional teams, the Senior Manager leads and executes business development strategies that support revenue goals and deepen customer engagement. By translating market insights into actionable opportunities, this role directly contributes toSimCorp’sability to win new business, expand existing relationships, and enhance our competitive positioning.
What you willbe responsible for
5–8 years of progressive experience in business development, sales leadership,orstrategicgrowth roles within FinTech, capital markets, SaaS, or financial services.
Strong understanding of the buy-side investment ecosystem (asset managers, asset owners, insurers, hedge funds), with the ability to engage credibly across front, middle, andback-officestakeholders.
Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally withSales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Successto translate market insight into actionable growth initiatives.
Experiencebuilding, managing, and forecastingpipeline, including setting targets, tracking performance metrics, and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with experiencementoring junior team membersand influencing stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is$140,000- $175,000 USD.Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans.
