Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team, reporting to our Director of Talent Acquisition, RA Capital. In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing top talent to the firm while delivering a seamless and exceptional candidate experience across all functions—including our investment, research, operations, and early-career pipelines. This role works directly with the Director of Talent Acquisition, RA Capital and Director of Talent Acquisition, Raven. The ideal candidate brings full-cycle recruiting experience, a strong grasp of the financial or life sciences industries, and a passion for identifying and engaging exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Support end-to-end recruiting processes across a range of functions—including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation—while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies to attract top-tier candidates, including passive talent. Proactively build and maintain robust talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated hiring needs using creative approaches such as direct outreach, digital platforms, employee referrals, and industry events.
- Manage Interview Processes: Coordinate interview logistics for candidates, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication. Follow up with interviewers to collect timely feedback on interviews, resumes, and candidate fit, and help coordinate next steps in the process.
- Recruiting Operations: Support ongoing reporting needs and ensure data integrity across recruiting metrics. Assist with enhancements to recruiting workflows and tools, including updating interview guides, and refining process documentation.
- Employer Brand: Champion RA Capital’s reputation in the talent market by supporting employer branding initiatives and storytelling across recruiting channels. Assist our Marketing team in developing and curating employee-generated content to highlight firm culture, values, and career opportunities.
- Early Career Programs: Support college outreach and entry-level hiring programs, including internships and partnerships with university career centers.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with members of the Human Resources team to support broader HR initiatives and projects. Willingly step in to assist with other priorities during periods of shifting hiring needs or lower recruiting activity.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally with experience in asset management, life sciences, or consulting. Experience at the nexus of asset management and life sciences a plus.
- Demonstrated success hiring across a variety of business functions and levels, including technical or highly specialized roles.
- Proficiency with recruiting technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake and AI tools; experience with Greenhouse ATS preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effective collaboration across stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Passion for delivering a high-quality candidate experience and continuously improving recruiting processes.
- Ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team environment that values collaboration, curiosity, and a good sense of humor.
- Desire to contribute to a workplace that balances professionalism with having fun.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment that values curiosity and precision

Compensation
RA Capital Management is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Pay for this position will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, and current market conditions.
In addition to base salary (listed below), employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.

Massachusetts base pay range
$115,000 - $150,000 USD
