Job Description: Crestline is seeking candidates for the Analyst role within our Opportunistic & Private Credit Strategies group in our New York office. This individual will be an important part of the investment team, supporting all aspects of the investment process. The Analyst will provide support for underwriting and credit analysis, financial modeling, deal execution, and portfolio monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as 1-3 years of post-undergraduate relevant work experience in investment banking, credit, or private equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth fundamental company and sector research, financial analysis, and due diligence on potential debt and equity investments.
- Support senior team members through all aspects of a potential transaction, including the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models.
- Prepare and present investment committee memoranda.
- Assist with negotiating term sheets, commitment letters, and credit documentation.
- Monitor and report on the performance of investments post-closing.
- Additional and ad hoc duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong academic credentials (bachelor’s degree from a highly regarded institution) and job performance.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of post-undergraduate relevant work experience in investment banking, credit, or private equity.
- Solid quantitative, analytical, and financial skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $110k to $125k per year, contingent on experience.
- Discretionary annual bonus eligible.
