This position is hybrid and remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. The office location for this position is at ESL Headquarters in Rochester NY. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

Pay and Incentive Plan:
Starting Salary: $102,000 Salary Range: $90,108 - $113,596
In addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an annual performance-based incentive that rewards eligible employees for their contributions to our success.
Purpose of Position:
Develop, design, analyze, and administer the company’s compensation programs to ensure that the function is competitive, equitable, compliant, efficient and effectively positioned in the total rewards strategy. This includes the management of UKG HRIS applications, and Payscale/Payfactors.
Accountabilities:
Manage Performance Management and Salary Administration documentation and overall systems to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity and compliance.
- Develops and administers all aspects of the Performance Plan and Performance Appraisal process for all employees and managers
- Develops and administers all aspects of the Merit and EIP process (online tool, Merit and EIP budget, all manager and employee communication)
- Develops training materials and facilitates training sessions
- Manages on-going vendor relationship and facilitates with internal IT support
- Analyze organization pay practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and document procedures to streamline processes
- Survey industry trends. Complete compensation surveys and review information obtained from the results. Forecast trends to recommend future program designs. Develop recommendations for review by management.
- Help administer incentive plan process
Job Evaluation
- Evaluate job descriptions to determine appropriate classifications and salary levels
- Ensure current and new positions are market competitive through analysis and benchmarking
Ensure Management and employee understanding of compensation programs and practices by providing training, advice and support.
- Assist in the development of communication tools and training materials to enhance manager and employee understanding of the compensation structure and programs.
Collaborate and assist the Benefits team
- Assist Benefits team with analysis, surveys, and any other data needs
Back up payroll
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Human Resources or 4 years of equivalent directly related experience required
- Minimum 3 years of experience with extensive data analysis, database management and reporting required
- Minimum 5 years of directly related experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills required
- Effective communication, planning, organization and presentation skills required
- Ability to handle/secure confidential information of the most sensitive nature
- Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations for compensation programs
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
