Your Future Team
The Manager, Private Investment Operations will play a hands-on role in managing activities related to Hightower’s centralized private investment data processing. Reporting to the Director, Client Reporting, you will oversee and manage the daily private investment valuation and transaction processing process, focusing on accurate data and timely completion. You will manage vendor partnerships and your team to ensure seamless operations, and an excellent advisor experience. You will be charged with building a scalable process, and drive additional integration and automation opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Private Investments Data Strategy and Execution: Develop and manage daily processes for private markets data with vendors and internal teams. Ensure efficient workflows and excellent advisor service.
- Vendor and Process Management: Monitor SLAs, handle exceptions, and maintain SOPs and metrics. Report regularly to business leaders.
- Problem solving: Address complex inquiries and escalations from internal and external stakeholders. Serve as the point of contact for advisor teams.
- Process improvement: Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement improvements and automation opportunities. Track and enhance data quality.
- Project Leadership: Lead large firm-wide initiatives related to private investments. Coordinate with cross-functional leaders to prioritize enhancements.
- Leading a team: Manage the effectiveness of processes, build and lead the team, and provide guidance and training. Prioritize resources for business needs and foster a culture of collaboration and growth.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years experience in private investments, preferably in a management role.
- Familiarity with performance reporting tools a plus
- Developed understanding of the operational details of the advisory business (e.g., RIA) functions (IT, Finance, Operations, Compliance) preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and resolve complex data issues and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- A growth mindset, propensity to take initiative to constantly improve processes, workflows, and results.

- Base salary of $120,000 - $125,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
