Job Description
The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating the growth of the global business via project management of key strategic marketing programs and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and efficiency. This is an ideal role for someone who can combine creativity with seamless process-driven execution.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as project manager on multiple simultaneous region-specific and multi-region marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Partner with internal and external resources to ensure the campaign meets visibility, quality, budget, results, and delivery expectations
- Enhance/improve Marketing processes and our project management platform’s backend (Wrike)
- Understand the business and company’s key objectives to contribute to project success by identifying where and when to push team members forward, prioritize, and execute
- Understand marketing team org and roles to ensure proper stakeholder involvement
- Manage resource allocation for assigned projects, prioritizing internal resources and providing recommendations on when and how to engage external partners
- Develop dashboards and similar tools for the team to tell the marketing program story, helping it learn from efforts while growing planning, prioritization, and execution capabilities, occasional presentations
- Align regional and global marketing development and activation calendars
- Occasionally work with outside agencies to address marketing project needs related to subject matter expertise, workload/bandwidth, time constraints, etc. in the most timely + cost-effective manner possible
Qualifications
Experience/skills:
- 5+ years of experience in project management or operations, preferably at a creative agency or within marketing, and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams
- Critical thinking and problem solving to recognize areas in need of improvement
- Ability to manage up, work autonomously, and take direction, recognizing when to reach out for support
- Preferred: 3 or more years experience with Wrike.
- Understand complex conditional logic, blueprints/automation, and organization for processes in Wrike
- Ability to influence outcomes/timelines at all levels of the organization with confidence
- Exceptional skill in self-managing and in maintaining ownership over several projects at once, being the main point of contact for 5+ projects in addition to directing 15-20 projects on an ongoing basis.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to positively interact and promote a healthy culture with external and internal stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Ability to plan and efficiently manage meetings to clearly articulate purpose and achieve desired results
- Ability to meet tight turnarounds and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred but not required
Physical Demands
- Ability to potentially travel approximately 5% both domestic and international
Work Location & Flexibility:
This position can be located remotely however if the candidate is based in our
Minneapolis or
New York City locations the office follows a hybrid work model. Employees in these locations are expected to work
on-site a minimum of two days per week. Please note that
specific business units or role requirements may necessitate additional in-office days based on team collaboration needs or operational priorities.
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position based on a good faith assessment of the role and market data at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. This position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or overtime if applicable. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits. Specific details will be provided during the interview process. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
$83,800.00 - $141,500.00
