Key Responsibilities
- FTR/CRR Support
- Support traders in managing the full lifecycle of FTRs and CRRs, including validation, nomination, and tracking of auction acquisitions.
- DART (Day-Ahead / Real-Time) Support
- Reconcile daily ISO (Independent System Operator) market results, ensure timely booking of day-ahead and real-time positions, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Primary Operational Point of Contact
- Serve as the main operational contact for internal and external stakeholders, including ISOs/RTOs and counterparties.
- Trade Validation & Reconciliation
- Verify, affirm, and settle daily trades by reconciling trade confirmations against internal system data and external records.
- Risk & P&L Support
- Partner with risk and valuation teams to ensure trading systems accurately reflect position and risk profiles, and that P&L (Profit and Loss) is properly attributed.
- System Maintenance & Data Integrity
- Maintain high-quality data within Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems and support enhancements to operational processes and controls.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience
- 2–3+ years in energy or commodity trading operations, preferably in ISO/RTO interactions.
- Technical Skills
- High proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ETRM ( Ion Endur), ISO Portals, and Vendor Data Platforms (YesEnergy/APX) strongly preferred.
- Market & Product Knowledge
- Understanding of ISO/RTO wholesale power markets (e.g., PJM, MISO, ERCOT, SPP) and FTR/CRR/DART mechanics.
- Analytical & Organizational Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive data and meet tight deadlines.
