The Impact You Will Have In This Role
As a Lead Project Manager, you will drive the successful delivery of complex, cross‑functional initiatives by structuring and executing detailed project plans, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring teams deliver against defined milestones. You will play a critical role in coordinating requirements, managing dependencies, and providing clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
This role requires a leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments, remains composed under pressure, and can manage multiple deliverables with firm target dates. You will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership—driving conversations, escalating risks, and balancing delivery expectations with empathy for team challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Build and execute a clear communication strategy to ensure alignment and transparency at all levels.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reporting, highlighting key accomplishments, risks, issues, and next steps.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and ensure follow‑through.
- Create and maintain documentation for project workflows, processes, and governance.
- Maintain and manage Jira boards, including backlog grooming and task updates.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and partner closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
- Coordinate materials and readiness for governance forums and leadership reviews.
- Take ownership beyond defined responsibilities to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed For Success
- 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a strong focus on infrastructure delivery projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in complex, cross‑functional environments.
- Working knowledge of data infrastructure and BI tools.
- Experience managing project artifacts including project plans, schedules, status reports, and financial tracking.
- Understanding of data governance challenges and solutions.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to run effective project routines and stakeholder meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver critical business outcomes while supporting and enabling Agile delivery practices.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
