Title: CFO
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead post-closing accounting and finance initiatives for new private equity-backed enterprises, including stakeholder reporting, cash management, KPI reporting, budgeting, and working capital optimization.
- Streamline and manage month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and variance analyses.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and provide team guidance.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual board presentations.
- Analyze financial data to assess company performance and develop performance measures.
- Stakeholder Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with private equity sponsors and management.
- Oversee financial operations of subsidiaries and foreign entities.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships.
- Compliance and Advisory:
- Ensure regulatory compliance and supervise acquisition due diligence.
- Monitor financial covenants and liaise with debt and equity stakeholders.
- Provide strategic financial insights to leadership.
- System and Process Optimization:
- Oversee transaction processing systems.
- Optimize and standardize monthly financial closing processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in accounting and finance, including five years as Controller, VP Finance, or CFO.
- Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed companies with CFO-level capability.
- Proficiency in stakeholder reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with private equity sponsors and senior management.
- Expertise in lender compliance reporting and closing statement preparation.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to drive initiatives.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Multi-industry and public accounting experience is a plus.
