Department Overview
The Solutions Team is responsible for ideation, planning and execution of strategic product initiatives for the Firm with a focus on driving growth and profitability. The team collaborates with Firm leadership and business unit leaders to plan and execute high impact projects such as new fund launches, product extensions, customized separate account vehicles and new multi-product strategic partnerships. The team also oversees and seeks to optimize the Firm’s existing suite of investor products.
Position Responsibilities
The candidate will contribute to research and development efforts for innovative new products, including conducting market and competitor research and developing product ideas across investor segments, geographies and investment strategies
.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- :Assisting in the execution of sophisticated, high impact new product development and implementation initiative
- Providing leverage to the Solutions Team on the management of investor product line
- Participating in the design and execution of new versions of existing product
- Conducting market and competitor research and helping with the development of new products across investor segments, geographies and investment strategies
- Assisting with negotiating legal documents and business terms with separately managed account clients and working with the Investor Partners Group to explain product proposition
- Building and maintaining financial models to determine the short-term and long-term impact of product initiatives
- Helping to manage relationships with internal and external business partners
- Developing knowledge of key industry and competitive trends
- Mentoring junior team members in their development of high-quality work such as financial models, analyses and presentations
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of experience for a VP (or 6+ years of experience for an AVP) at a top-tier financial services, investment management, consulting or private equity firm in a product development and strategy capacity
- High level of intellectual curiosity with a desire to develop skills and learn
- Strong quantitative, financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and drive to deliver high-quality work
- Strong project and process management skills and ability to multi-task
- Abide by our work-in-office policies then in effect

Compensation & Benefits
For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $220,000 to $245,000 for a Vice President and $180,000 to $220,000 for an Assistant for Vice President. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
