Man Group Technology Rotational Program
Technology powers everything we do at Man Group. Our teams ensure the firm has a robust tech platform that facilitates alpha generation, portfolio management, trade execution, operations, compliance, risk management and accounting, as well as providing “firm-wide” end user collaboration tools.
What Does the Man Group Technology Rotational Program offer?
Our Technology Foundation Program will give you the opportunity to gain experience and take on challenges across several areas within technology. Working within a dynamic global technology business will present you with the opportunity to work on projects with direct business impact, learning from experts.
Placements will have the chance to improve our quantitative investment platform, integrate new datasets, extend our execution and order management systems, and contribute to our core technology platform.
As one of our Associate Engineers, you will gain a thorough understanding of our business and having successfully completed the program, will be well-placed to develop a long-term career at Man Group. Formal and on-the-job training will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business, and each trainee will receive personalized mentorship.
Who Is Man Group Looking For?
We're looking for candidates with a self-driven passion for technology and a flair for creative problem solving. You must be able to show that you have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in a fast-paced and innovative industry, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are able to think critically, striving to generate new ideas. Successful candidates should be available to join in August 2025.
Requirements:
- Currently studying for a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline
- A passion for technology and exceptional programming skills. Please include links to any relevant content (e.g., GitHub) on your application
- Experience of working with Python, Java, or C# .Net

What Happens After I Have Sent My Application?
Step 1: Application Review
We will review your resume, and you will hear from us by email to confirm whether your application is being progressed. We do receive a high volume of applications so there may be a wait to hear back but we will be in touch as soon as possible.
Step 2: Technical Test
You will be given a technical test as the first stage of the interview process. This will be a timed assessment to be completed in your own time.
Step 3: Assessment Day
The final stage will be an assessment day at our Boston office. We will advise you of our decision as quickly as possible following the assessment day.
