The Team:
We are seeking an exceptionally talented individual to join our Global Trading Strategies team as a Macro Trader in FX & Fixed Income. Candidates should be ambitious and enthusiastic about implementing new ideas and possess the ability to work both individually and in a team setting.
The trader will be responsible for executing trades in products including, but not limited to: Interest Rate Swaps, Inflation-linked bonds, Currencies, TBAs and Repo. The trader will also work with researchers and portfolio management teams to assist with market & liquidity analysis, navigate market structure changes, and periodically review execution quality & costs. Finally, the trader will work to build and enhance pricing, automation, & analytics tools.
Your Role:
- Execute trades in major Macro markets, ensuring adherence to PM intention as well as our best execution and risk management protocol
- Analyze transaction costs and develop strategies to minimize trading expenses
- Work with large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in trading strategies or technology
- Collaborate with colleagues in Trading & Engineering to optimize trading workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Utilize coding skills to automate processes and improve data analysis capabilities
- Prepare and present insights to the trading team based on analytical finding
- Stay updated on market trends and economic indicators that may impact trading strategies
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Macro Trading, specifically in FX or Rates
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of transaction costs and their implications
- Proficiency in coding (Python, R, or similar) and advanced numeracy skills
- Experience working with large data sets and familiarity with data visualization tools

The salary range for this role is expected to be $140,000 to $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs. This wage range may also be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
