The Role:
Blue Owl is seeking a Lease Administrator, Analyst to join our Real Estate platform in Chicago, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing real estate private equity firm. The ideal candidate will be well-organized with a “can-do” attitude and will have experience in lease administration.
Responsibilities:
Complete new tenant on-boarding
Review and analyze tenant requests against commercial lease requirements.
Develop process to track and organize outstanding tenant reimbursables and tenant deliveries.
Review property notices received and escalate as appropriate.
Follow up with tenants on post-closing repair obligations to help ensure completion.
Manage collection of rent each month.
Manage collection of tenant financials on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
Manage collection of tenant insurance certificates and confirmations of real estate tax payments.
Work with accounting teams on an ongoing basis to confirm tenant reimbursables are received.
Liaise with insurance and accounting teams to ensure insurance premiums are paid.
Coordinate and schedule site visits for 3rd parties with tenants.
Complete “KYC” forms and tenant On-boarding.
Sort mail and distribute to appropriate teams.
Qualifications:
1-5 years of experience in working with commercial real estate leases
Experienced in Outlook and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills preferred)
Detail-oriented and have the ability to balance competing priorities
Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
