Global Fund Finance - Open-Ended Funds BPP – Vice President
Job Description:
- Oversee team responsible for day-to-day activities related to the fund accounting and reporting of open-ended and closed-end core European real estate funds administered both externally and internally
- Manage third party fund administrator relationships
- Manage all fund level operating activities including deal funding, LP funding, cash activities, lines of credit, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting
- Manage quarterly close of BX deliverables
- Review all capital calls and distributions activities and all other fund level activities
- Manage relationship and communication with external auditors
- Review quarterly and annual fund partnerships’ GAAP financial statements
- Responsible for financial reporting, preparing/reviewing applicable filings, technical accounting research, and monthly/quarterly reporting requirements
- Review complex waterfall and incentive models
- Manage LP onboarding and investor requests
- Coordinate with internal audit to ensure SOX compliance
- Coordinate with technology teams to improve automation of manual processes
- Collaborate and manage relationships with internal teams including Tax, Acquisition, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Legal & Compliance, Investor Client Services, local Finance, Technology, and Treasury
- Execute team’s strategic plan
- Generate creative solutions to improve processes
- Responsible for development of junior team members
Qualifications:
- BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance and CPA is preferred
- 10+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Experience with open-ended funds, real estate and/or private equity industry is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Highly organized and proactive.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic culture.
- Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills
- Ideal candidates would have a commitment to excellence in their work product and a desire to learn and grow as a professional

Expected annual base salary range:
$155,000 - $225,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
