Summary
As our Social Media Associate, you will help enable and implement the overall social media strategy for the firm and will be responsible for developing and curating engaging content for social media platforms. This individual will assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content across a variety of marketing initiatives and platforms, including company events to gather live social media content. The ideal candidate is a professional, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for social media.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in social media, either in-house or at an agency.
- In-depth knowledge of LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial services communications regulatory requirements, domestic and international.
- Confidence to pitch fresh ideas, think creatively, and identify and solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Strong creative, with a strong attention to detail
- Attend or initiate kick-off meetings and the ability to manage projects independently.
- Flexibility to shift priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social publishing tools (such as Sprinklr.)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Adobe creative suite experience preferred.
- Financial Services experiences preferred.
- Employee advocacy tool experience (like Hearsay or LiveSocial)
Responsibilities
- This individual will collaborate with colleagues across our businesses, as well as subject matter experts, to plan and execute content and assist with campaigns designed to modernize brand perception and drive profitable growth.
- The position sits within the Global Brand Experience team and reports to the Director of Social Media.
- Your primary focus will be on content creation (visual and written), publishing content, and monitoring performance, with an emphasis on content.
- Utilize social media publishing tools to coordinate and schedule content.
- Craft engaging written and visual content aligned with the firm's messaging.
- Identify and advocate for social media best practices; stay current on new technologies and industry trends and drive the adoption of innovative strategies and solutions.
- Adhere to internal and external approval processes, compliance, audit and regulatory processes and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content and provide recommendations for content optimization based on performance data.
- Assist in the development and execution of training sessions to educate employees on LinkedIn best practices and the firm's employee social media policy.
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $75,000-$95,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
