The Associate will join a dynamic team working across Blackstone’s global business lines and corporate functions to support the executive office, including the Vice Chairman with important firm-wide initiatives. The program will work across the investor relations, shareholder relations, strategic relationship management, and capital markets teams. This position involves a two-year commitment.
- This is a highly visible, detail-oriented role, responsible for keeping the Vice Chairman, Strategy and Client Relations, informed and prepared for high-profile, external-facing events; internal firmwide communications; and other ah-hoc initiatives
- Will work with key business leaders around the firm – each of whom lead a top global platform in their respective areas – leveraging firmwide network to deliver insights on client engagement, Blackstone’s portfolio footprint, and partnership opportunities with external stakeholders
- Key liaison for C-Suite requests related to meeting prep, internal business metrics, strategic initiatives and other key firm priorities
- Attend business unit and firmwide meetings to stay informed on developments across Blackstone’s wide-reaching global businesses, along with external market and industry dynamics
- Build and maintain internal network across the firm, including with senior business leaders and functional teams
- Collaborate with the Vice Chairman’s Executive Assistant to maintain schedule of upcoming engagements, including international roadshows, speaking events, and relationship building meetings
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and reading skills are essential.
- Knowledge of alternative asset management industry is preferred.
- Candidates should be highly motivated, team-oriented individuals who can thrive in a dynamic environment. Should exhibit strong organization and communications skills.
- This is a highly visible role internally. Thoughtfulness and attention to detail are critical.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required. Experience with Salesforce and Tableau is preferred.
- Completed bachelor’s degree.

Expected annual base salary range:
$97,500 - $130,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
