Job Description
Your Role:
The Senior Manager- FP&A is responsible for providing direction to a team of finance professionals to support the Client Delivery and Investment functions with overall planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of financial performance. This involves developing and managing processes and solutions to ensure forecasting, analysis, and decision support efficiencies. Build metric-driven financial models to evaluate profitability, cost management, and productivity improvements.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Coordinating with Client Delivery & Investments FP&A teams and Accounting on actual results, budgets, and forecasting activities
- Analyzing Client Delivery and Investments, regional and functional financial results (revenue, expenses, and operating income), and relevant trends to identify and understand risks to achieving financial objectives
- Identifying areas of possible revenue opportunities and/or potential cost savings to incorporate into the business financial plan and forecast
- Propose and design ongoing methods for monitoring the health of the business including participating in long-term and short-term financial planning
- Perform detailed analysis of profitability results, inputs and drivers. Develop model outputs and structure to aid investment and resource allocation decisions
- Creating/maintaining, interpreting, and delivering management reporting in the form of presentations, performance dashboards, and other visual tools for business leaders, including senior executives
- Supports the expansion of responsibilities within the Hyderabad, India-based Global Business Services team, including documentation, training, and stabilization of transitioned processes
- Various ad-hoc requests as required
The Experience You Bring:
- Experience in financial analysis, scenario planning, forecasting, decision modeling, and understanding business profitability.
- Highly analytical and able to interpret large data sets and complex problems facing a multi-billion-dollar global business
- Prior experience in investment management or financial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or Hyperion planning is a plus.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks and projects
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment across functions and geographic locations
The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The base salary range for this role in New York is $160,000 - $170,000.
