What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?
- Lead team responsible for establishing and managing key partners and stakeholders across the firm, including the various SIMs, Investment teams, client service, compliance, operations, digital and technology.
- Responsible for aligning team across SIMs and products to assist SIMs with marketing support as needed.
- Understand business strategy and direction, identify gaps and implications.
- Develop and deliver communications that provide insights to the products and services provided by the team.
- Prepare and deliver status and accomplishment reporting.
- Interact with internal clients globally and drive organizational and service improvements.
- Continually evolve the team to maximize support and satisfaction for internal clients.
- Help drive template unification for core suite materials across SIMs and regions.
- Identify the Core Selling System that is going to be maintained and ensure it’s delivered in a quality and timely manner by the team.
- Ability to make decisions and access current state of deliverables to determine what makes good business sense to retain, discontinue and pause. Having the discipline to make metrics-based decisions.
- Become the relationship point for SIMs, regional marketing team, FTS and FTT for what gets delivered against the investment core suite of materials.
- Help implement story refreshes across regions and materials
- Establish processes for team to work with compliance to route and distribute content for all required channels and update SIM content on websites and digital assets
- Participate in pre-quarter-end production planning sessions with SIMs and others internal clients.
- Align team members with various SIMs so that assistance could be provided with product launches
- Help support SIMs with campaigns in regions (non-product)
- Develop best practices with digital team for efficient and effective updates to web pages.
- Route SIM content for webpages and implement across regions in partnership with the digital team.
- Ability to push-back in a constructive manner on materials developed by the SIMs that would not be used.
- Work on non- core suite product materials (sales ideas, flyers, snapshots, manually created materials). Ensure that they remain relevant and continue to add value.
- Act as a strong partner to each SIM to help market their developing investment capabilities.
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
- Ten plus years in marketing, marketing operations, product, marketing or other pertinent industry experience, preferable with a focus on investment management
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
- Proficiency in business desktop applications, primarily Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong understanding of investment products and industry
- Curiosity and drive to continue to learn and push boundaries in a respectful manner
- Experienced in stakeholder management and building long-term relationships and trust, ideally across multiple geographies and functions
- Capable of understanding clients’ needs / solutions that are being proposed, and how to bring the narrative and solution to life in various formats (web, ppt)
- Able to adhere to schedules, handle multi-tasking, manage project flow with a meticulous mind under deadline pressure
- Proactive and independent team player who enjoys taking initiatives in large variety of tasks and projects
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate with senior professionals
- Comfortable and willing to work within a global organization across functions, channels, and multiple time zones upon request
- Bachelor’s degree. An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus

Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to be $171,700 - $188,000.
