Overview
17Capital’s Investor Relations team is looking to hire an Analyst to join their team in Toronto to continue to drive the rapid growth of the firm. The individual will work closely with the team across London and New York to assist in managing the existing LP base as well as supporting all fundraising activities and investor events in Canada and Latin America.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the team to deliver a first class and effective investor relations service in Canada and Latin America
- Assist the team in the planning and implementing of the capital raising strategy.
- Co-ordinate investor roadshows and prepare appropriate documentation for use during fundraising periods
- Assist with the development of fund marketing materials for fundraising, roadshows, AGMs, investor updates and other investor communications, including PPMs, DDQs, case studies etc.
- Support organizing and coordinating the AGM, investor events and webinars
- Prepare and produce materials for investor relations internal meetings
- Management of the CRM system ensuring all fundraising information is accurately inputted in a timely manner
- Provide hands-on support to the existing investor base and respond to investor request and queries
- Proactively help and provide input into improving processes and procedures
Skillset required
- Undergraduate degree with strong academics
- Dynamic, team player, with passion for investments who can work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong financial, analytical and data manipulation skills
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- A strong work ethic and someone who can take ownership of their work whilst demonstrating a high level of attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism
- Competent in preparing impactful presentations, working with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Sharepoint and PowerBI.
