The Position:
Seeking a top performing lawyer for investment funds (closed-end, business development companies, REITS and private) and securities work.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a JD degree from a top tier institution and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in as many of the following areas as possible:
- Closed-end registered investment companies;
- Registered REITs;
- Business development companies;
- Private funds;
- Credit asset management business;
- Contract and entity management;
- Institutional risk mitigation;
- Separately managed accounts;
- Securities Act of 1933;
- Securities Exchange Act of 1934;
- Investment Advisers Act of 1940;
- Investment Company Act of 1940;
- Legislative and regulatory changes that impact the firm and the firm’s contracts (including contract negotiations); and
- Special projects

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 plus an annual discretionary performance-based bonus. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and performance.
