Job Description
You Will Be Responsible For:
Assist in the execution of all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management framework and Policy as needed;
- Assists first line stakeholders in identifying appropriate risk metrics/key risk indicators to monitor adherence to established Risk appetites.
- Partners with stakeholders in the business to ensure that new or emerging risks are considered, managed, and where required appropriately mitigated for business initiatives, business/regulatory change.
- Provides independent challenge, on the completeness, effectiveness and quantification of Risk and Control Self-Assessments.
- Assists and advise first line stakeholders on relevant incident management information ensuring which may include adherence to Global incident management policies, themes and trends, and deep-dives.
- Supports the delivery of Enterprise Risk Management reporting and analysis to governance forums, business, and risk committees, including Key Risk Indicators, Incident Trends, appropriate risk escalations, and management within risk appetite.
- Ensures execution of policies and procedures in alignment with global standards and conformity with applicable regulations, regulatory expectations, and guidelines.
- Builds positive relationships and partners with the business to provide enterprise risk advice and support for business-driven initiatives and objectives.
- Utilizes technical expertise to process, design, and visually present data analysis to designated business units to better manage risk.
- Identifies, monitors, and tracks control gaps, as well as preventative measures identified by business units and provides follow up as needed.
The Experience You Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years 2nd line Enterprise Risk Management experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in Asset Management, OR
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in back office/middle office operations, third party/procurement at an asset management firm with a solid understanding of Enterprise Risk
- In-depth knowledge of risk management practices (2nd line)
- Preference to candidates with knowledge and experience in third party risk management, change risk management and/or operations risk management.
- Good level of understanding of risk regulatory requirements for asset management firms
- Good level of understanding of operational resilience, beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk, Business or relevant discipline, advanced degrees and/or accreditations beneficial.
