In the role of Travel & Expense Specialist, the employee will be responsible for the following:
· Review and verify expense reports are properly coded and entered in general ledger in a timely manner
· Ensure submitted expenses are in compliance with firm T&E policies
· Responsible for resolving various issues related to expense reporting in Workday
· Administrator for the AMEX program, including issuing new cards and sending replacements
· Assist with month-end close activities as it relates to expense management and credit cards
· Work with the team on ad hoc projects as it relates to Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense and the optimization of Workday
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
In order to effectively represent the Company and communicate with clients, the employee must be someone who has:
· Proven work experience in accounts payable, travel & expense
· Workday or other ERP experience preferred
· Basic accounting principles knowledge
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
· Ability to interact with employees and in a professional manner
· Strong organizational and time management skills
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
· 3+ years of relevant experience
· Accounting degree
