Position Summary
Guggenheim Investments is seeking an exceptional, self-motivated Analyst to join its Finance Operations team. This role will be responsible for supplier procurement review, preparing and reviewing invoices against contract requirements, onboarding requirements, and maintaining accurate records to comply with tax reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with all involved parties to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and documented.
This role is remote based in Kansas, preferably in the greater Topeka area.
Essential Job Functions
- End-to-end supplier record maintenance, including review of onboarding requirements and maintaining accurate and complete records to comply with tax reporting requirements
- Create financial procurement records to assign invoices to contracts
- Notify appropriate parties as purchase orders are generated
- Prepare invoices for processing including verifying invoices against purchase orders or contracts, obtaining internal business rationale in support of allocation methodologies to legal entity, business unit, or account
- Complete invoice processing form to accompany invoice when submitted to Accounts Payable
- Review all requests for payment in accordance with the firm’s policies and accounting controls
- Identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and follow up on outstanding payments
- Provide support as requested through creation of reports or ad-hoc analysis
- Identify business processes or workflow enhancements to continuously improve the Workday
- Procurement and Suppliers module experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and eager to learn, collaborate, and work in fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Workday or other ERP systems is a plus
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical, research, and reasoning skills
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Salary Details
Annual base salary between $70,000 and $80,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
