Through our financial advisory business, Lazard advises clients around the world on strategic and financial matters including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, capital structure and capital raising. In the Industrials group, our team provides best-in-class strategic advice and execution capabilities on a global scale. The group’s core verticals include Capital Goods, Transportation, Automotive, Business Services, Chemicals, Building Products and Packaging, and Aerospace and Defense, among others.
We’ll trust you to:
- Interact with client senior executives
- Manage deal processes
- Provide guidance to and supervise Associates and Analysts
- Perform financial analyses and create models
- Prepare and create client presentations and marketing materials
You’ll need to have:
- At least 4+ years of investment banking experience (M&A experience strongly preferred)
- Meaningful exposure to and passion for the Industrials sector
- Strong client and presentation skills
- Strong quantitative background and analytical/technical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- A demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, and maturity
- Ability to support, manage and empower junior bankers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree required

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $250,000 - $275,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
