Position
This is a Hybrid role.
This hire will be a member of the Firm’s Regulatory Group focusing on branch inspections, regulatory exams and ad-hoc tasks. The Firm’s Regulatory Group is housed within its Legal Department. While attorneys are encouraged to apply, this position does not require a law license. As noted below, while this individual’s primary responsibility will be branch inspections, the individual will also have responsibilities in other areas covered by the Firm’s Regulatory Group.
Primary Responsibility - Assist in the administration of the Firm’s branch inspection program.
- conduct branch and non-branch location inspections both in-person and remotely; responsibilities will include pre-visit preparation, inspections, report preparation and distribution, remediation and follow-up;
- participate in industry regulatory initiatives, including calls, regarding required and best practices.
Additional Responsibilities - Assist in other tasks performed by the Firm’s Regulatory team.
- assist in regulatory exams, including gathering information from Firm constituents, responding to exam requests, responding and following up on findings and drafting reports;
- assist with Firm governance related tasks;
- participate in ad hoc regulatory projects
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of financial services experience
Desired Experience/Skills
- willingness to travel
- financial services audit experience (prior branch inspection experience preferred);
- ability to build, develop and maintain solid working relationships both externally with regulators and internally;
- ability to deliver high quality work product under time sensitive deadlines;
- project Management skills; and
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $140,000 - $150,000.
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
