Overview
The Client Order Management Specialist plays a key role in coordinating all client directed flow activity with a central focus on extreme attention to detailed processes and procedures to mitigate risk in a fast-paced environment. This role will partner with the Account Managers and other teams within Client Solutions ensuring the highest quality of service for internal and external clients.
The role will interface with US Client Service Operations Teams, Client Strategy, Portfolio Management, Legal & Compliance and Investment Operations teams. Will also work directly with the UK COM teams.
Role is based in Chicago, Illinois#LI-hybrid
Responsibilities
- Primary Responsibility is to coordinate with Account Managers to review and submit all client directed flow activity and work with Operations, Strategy and Portfolio Managers on any follow up or resolution as needed.
- Assist in processing Client Orders across global teams
- Partner with all teams within Client Solutions to maintain and enrich Salesforce
- Assist with client onboarding documentation, transitions and investment flow activity by working with Client Strategy, Implementation and Distribution teams as needed.
- Help identify areas of improvement and assist in implementing process efficiencies
- Maintain and promote a client-centric, solutions-focused culture grounded in teamwork
- Participate in firm-wide training and professional development sessions when available
- Promote and support our principles of diversity and inclusion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-3 years’ experience in investment management client service, pension consulting or similar experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and efficient information management
- Demonstrated organizational skills; ability to multi-task and to manage various assignments
- Ability to consistently meet all internal/external deadlines
- Self-confidence; ability to function as both a self-starter and a team player
- Flexibility; ability to adapt to growth and change
- Detail orientation and a high degree of accuracy are required
- Strong communication skills
