Lazard Wealth, LAM’s wealth management business, collaborates with our clients to help solve and simplify the complexities of wealth, while delivering sophisticated investment solutions and advice. We combine years of history and experience to help preserve and grow our clients’ wealth across generations.
Lazard Wealth has experienced significant growth over the last several years. As growth continues, we are looking for someone to step into the role of fund accountant for the private equity vehicles. The position has meaningful exposure to many aspects of the business and will report directly to the Senior Associate and Co-Head of Family Office Services.
We’ll trust you to:
- Review quarterly NAV calculations and financial statements for a multi-tier private equity pool, prepared by a third party administrator
- Be responsible for the preparation of a quarterly investment overview and capital accounts for the multi-tier private equity pool
- Be responsible for the preparation of financial statements and capital accounts for multiple direct co-investment vehicles
- Oversee all treasury functions for multiple series within the fund and co-invests, including the preparation of quarterly capital calls
- Assist with the annual audits as needed including effective and timely participation with external auditors
- Manage the relationship with external tax preparers ensuring the timeliness of deliverables
- Review investor K-1s, tax estimates and annual tax returns
- Assist with forecasts and expense analysis as requested
- Respond to ad hoc information requests
- Assist with compliance and regulatory filings
- Participate in internal initiatives
You’ll need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or Business concentration
- Relevant internship experience in accounting/financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- The ability to multitask with good time management skills to meet multiple reporting deadlines
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately 65,000 - 75,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
