Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Management Methodology Senior Manager to join the US Operational Risk Management Department. This role will focus on maturing our programs through the development of training as well as enhancing tools and resources that support our operational risk management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Development: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs on operational risk policies, procedures, and tools for employees across various levels.
- Tool Enhancement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and enhance risk management tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business units to identify training as well as tool needs and provide support in embedding operational risk management practices throughout the organization.
- Content Creation: Create engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and guides, to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track and assess the effectiveness of training programs and tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all training programs and tools align with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in operational risk management and training methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field with minimum 10 years’ experience in the field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in training design and delivery, as well as experience with e-learning platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM) in risk management.
- Experience with project management, operational risk programs and training evaluation
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid office environment
- Travel is not expected.
